Graduated from Anhui Medical University in 1999, Dr. Wang has been working in clinic and scientific research for more than 20 years. After Obtaining a master degree in 1998, he started to work at Guangdong Province Traditional Medical Hospital. During his Ph.D. studies in Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center (supervised by Professor Zhong-zhen Guan), Dr. Wang focused on cancer chemotherapy and biological targeted therapy. He worked at Jiangsu Province Cancer Hospital after graduation, and turned to the Eastern Hospital of the First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University in 2011 as the founder of Oncology Department there. Dr. Wang joined Oncology Department, Seventh Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yet-Sen University in 2017.
Dr. Wang is expert in diagnosis and treatment of malignant tumor using radiotherapy, chemotherapy and biological targeted therapy. He has rich experience in the diagnosis and treatment of head and neck cancer, lung cancer, gastrointestinal cancer and Germ-cell tumors, et al.
