Awarded as the outstanding young medical talent in Guangdong Province, Dr. Wang went to the Department of Trauma and Orthopaedics of the Affiliated Hospital of Leuven University in Belgium for training in AO Trauma fellowship. He is currently member of the Youth Committee of the Microsurgical Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, member of the Replantation Committee of the Microsurgical Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, member of the Trauma and Orthopaedic Committee of the Chinese Society of Geriatrics and the Department of Microsurgery of the Guangdong Medical Association, member of the committee, special editorial board of the Chinese Journal of Microsurgery. In 2014, he won the first prize of Guangdong Science and Technology Progress Award. Dr. Wang is specialized in treatment of complex limbs, intra-articular fractures and pelvic fractures; treatment of severe open injury of limbs; surgical treatment of non-continuous limbs and bone defects; diagnosis and treatment of peripheral nerve compression syndrome. His research focuses on the repair of peripheral nerve injury and the regeneration of bone defects in the limbs.
