He is the member of China Branch of the International Society of Spinal Cord Injuries, member of Cervical Society of China Association of Rehabilitation, member of Spine Branch of Guangdong Medical Society, member of society of Chinese and Western Integrative Medicine in Guangdong. Dr. Wei specializes in the intervertebral disc degeneration and Spinal injury, especially good at minimally invasive treatment of spinal related diseases, including cervical spondylosis, intervertebral disc herniation, lumbar stenosis, lumbar spondylolisthesis, spine deformity et al. According to the research, he is professor in the field of spine degeneration. He has completed several intervertebral disc degeneration programs funded by national foundation and published more than 40 papers in the high-level journals of Orthopaedics, especially in the Spine, Euro Spine and Spine Journal et al.
